My bunt piece and progression

I have just finished painting my piece for 'Bunt', a collective project with Drawn in Bristol of

wooden bunting which will be exhibited and then auctioned. Each image will have on it one species that is currently endangered in the south-west. I have really enjoyed painting with acrylics for the first time in a few years. It felt good to get out of my comfort zone and away from paper.I photographed the stages throughout this, partly because I was a bit nervous I would ruin it and have no record!  

I chose to paint a hazel door mouse, they are beautiful little critters!
