The wrong trousers, Gromit Unleashed

If you live in or nearby Bristol you are probably aware that Gromit Unleashed is currently dotted around the city in the form a trail consisting of nearly a hundred painted Gromits.

'Led by Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and Aardman Animations, Gromit Unleashed is a public art exhibition in which giant sculptures of Gromit, decorated by invited artists, have been unleashed on the streets of Bristol and the surrounding area.'

At the end of the art trail, the sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity.

I thought I would include images of my submission in this post, just for fun!

A few from a wonderfully Sunny weekend away in The New Forest. Good friends and good times. Wonderful to get out of the city for a bit.

Mum Tums

Here is a peek at an image I have been working on for my friend and fellow illustrator Omi's zine about babies and pregnancy. The zine is actually going to be in black and white but I coloured it up just for fun.

London & Elcaff

Had a little trip to London this weekend and checked out Elcaff on Saturday. It was a super inspiring collection of illustration and graphic art in North Hall, Bethnal Green. My favorite exhibitors included, Nobrow, Cachete Jack, Lizzy Stewart, Tom Frost and Planeta Tangerina

I also took a couple of snaps of a nice mural on a cafe wall in Whitechapel. 

Very inspiring stuff! 

Lisbon

Just got back from a fab week in Lisbon, Portugal. Was a lovely break with lots of laughs and fun with friends. There is a lot of inspiring street art and some wonderful sea food and pastries as well as one of the biggest aquarium's in Europe. On the saturday night we also went to a huge street party which was rather magical in the narrow steep streets with fairy lights everywhere. I really recommend it to anyone looking to a great new city to explore.
