My Cushions!

I am pleased to say that I have completed my first batch of cushions! They are high quality digital prints on thick cotton canvas and have been handmade with a zip at the side.
I am hoping to sell them locally in and around the Bristol area. I will also be selling them upon request to anyone interested please email me at hello@hollymaguire.co.uk.
Very exited!

Cushion Making

Whilst staying with my grandparents, my gran helped me to make my first batch of cushion covers. I say help, she more did the sewing whilst I attempted to learn and make myself useful! Am so chuffed with the result, a product I can take to shops and potentially sell! Huge thanks to gran for all her amazing help. Below are a few photos of the making process, done in the sunny garden room : )

A visit to the Lakes.

This weekend James and I went to the Kendal, close to the Lake District to visit my grandparents. We had a lovely stay and a great time visiting the beautiful Lakes and exploring nearby farms and villages accompanied by lots of cream teas!

A Beautiful Wedding

Last saturday was the celebration of my lovely friends Sean and Nicola's wedding. It was such a perfect day, with a lovely moving ceremony, followed by a outside reception in the most beautiful garden I have ever seen! It was really lovely and relaxed with pimms on picnic blankets with a hog roast, dancing and exploring more of the gardens. Most important was seeing Sean and Nic so happy in their newly wedded bliss : )

The wrong trousers, Gromit Unleashed

If you live in or nearby Bristol you are probably aware that Gromit Unleashed is currently dotted around the city in the form a trail consisting of nearly a hundred painted Gromits.

'Led by Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and Aardman Animations, Gromit Unleashed is a public art exhibition in which giant sculptures of Gromit, decorated by invited artists, have been unleashed on the streets of Bristol and the surrounding area.'

At the end of the art trail, the sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity.

I thought I would include images of my submission in this post, just for fun!
