Jill and Holly Maguire, an exhibition at The Bridge Patisserie

 

I visited my family in Winchester this weekend and me and my Mum popped to The Bridge Patisserie for lunch. We both have our work up together there and I hadn't had the opportunity to take any photos till now. I think our pieces work really well together with their light colour washed and detailed patterns. Have a look at my Mum, Jill Maguire's beautiful work here

 

Hellohead

 
So Wednesday was the Hellohead exhibition at Cargo in Shoreditch. There was a fantastic turn out and it was a brilliant evening. The space itself was great. I loved the exposed brick work and wood in contrast to  the pieces. There was also lots of great things going on such as live portrait drawing, which Omi was doing (she is incredibly good at portraits check out her wonderful work) There was also a dress up and frame area to get your photo taken as well as a pop up shop. I hear the silent auction for the pieces went really well and all the money raised will go to The National Autistic Society. Big well done to Lucy Joy and Rosie Shorter and everyone else involved for creating such a fantastic exhibition and evening : )

 

Weekend in London and a peek into google

I had a wonderful weekend with Saskia in London this weekend. I visited her at work at Google's Soho offices on Friday for the first time and it is amazing! Incredibly decorated with amazing facilities a huuuge lunch menu. Managed to stock up on snacks for the train ride home! Also spent a few hours wondering around Covent Garden and Niels Yard. We spent Saturday bathing in the sun at her local park and went to a gig in a beautiful overgrown cemetery. Also visited the Syllvanians shop nearby.  
A very relaxing and fun filled weekend : )

 

Sleepy sunday and foraging

Me and James did a bit of foraging today. There are so many lovely herbs and blackberries around! Have also managed to finish some more drawings for my zine. Not far from finishing it now. Looking forward to sharing it on here soon!

Lovely Labels

Found some great vintage drinks labels (as well as a paper bag) in one of the flea markets I visited in Paris. More for Free Flavour!
