Garden lady from live drawing in colour
I did this piece a couple of weeks ago as part of a live drawing sesh with Drawn in Bristol. I sold the piece on the night which I was really happy about, but can't help wondering what it would look like with colour. So here it is : )

Jill and Holly Maguire at The Bridge Patisserie
Come along to The Bridge Patisserie to see works from Myself and my mum, Jill Maguire. It will be up for the next few months and all pieces are for sale. Treat yourself to a pastry or some handmade chocolates in there, one of my favorite cafes!

Sunday, Jamaica street, Myths and Legends and general mooching
Yesterday involved a lot of exhibition visiting and mooching around with friends. Jamaica Street open studios was as diverse and inspiring as always. I didn't take many photos but my particular favorites were Bjorn Rune Lee and Anouk Mercier.
After Jamaica Street we headed to Drawn in Bristol's 'Myths and Legends' show which I have this piece in. Was a lovely atmosphere with cake and pimms and lots of lovely work.
All of the pieces are for sale as limited edition prints. Pop by to have a look if you're in the area. The info is here.
There were a couple of other exhibitions we wondered around on park street, I really loved the top two pieces below, no idea who did them though! Finally did a bit of giant drawing with two ladies who were making a giant map of Bristol.

Saturday wanderings and Bunt
Has been a jam packed weekend and have loved every minute! 6 exhibitions, 2 lovely friends to stay and a trip to Cardiff.
Lots of pics to share over the nest few days. Starting with Bunt on saturday. Loved seeing all the some of the pieces from over 60 artists, in various locations around Bristol. Also there is a great installation of trees in shopping trolleys outside Colston Hall.
We Spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out in the sun outside the Arnolfini.
