Me and James found this great 1950's coffee table in a Horfield charity shop yesterday and thought it would be fun to make it into a giant black board. Been doing lots of chalk doodling since then. Started painting some food jars to chalk labels onto.
I was recently asked by Drawn in Bristol (local collective I am part of) to take a photo of the tools I use to create my illustrations. It made me realise how little I actually use (despite owning countless pastels, paints, pens ect. At the moment I prefer to work with just pen ink and sometimes water colours.

Some pictures from my birthday. Lovely time spending it with my family in St Werburgs city farm. I love having a birthday in spring. I got an amazing record player from my parents so spent the rest of the day hunting down vinyl in charity shops. Two wonderful cakes and lots of lovely friend time. Also Lola cat looking very sweet in her little makeshift home : )

I had a wonderful 24th Birthday yesterday. Lot of photos to share but here are my two incredible birthday cakes! The first is a lobster dinner created for me by James. The second was made by my sister Rosie, who is a wonderful baker. Felt so privilaged to receive two amazing cakes! Needless to say was a bit painful cutting into them both!
